Studying graphic design is a good optionif you are passionate about brands and the whole creation process that exists when a new company is created or a pre-existing one is transformed. The graphic designer plays an essential role in these processes. To understand this, it is best to look at it with an example: do you know Correos?

In 2019, Spain's oldest postal company undertook a rebranding, launching a new corporate image that aims to update and modernise the imaginary around the company and adapt to the new needs of the digital world.

The original logo was designed in 1977 by José María Cruz Novillo, designer and creator of iconic logos that still endure today, such as Repsol, El Mundo, Cope, Supercor, etc. The new proposal presents a new corporate image that is simpler, more open and agile, maintaining the cleat and the crown, the historical legacy of Correos, as well as yellow, its corporate colour.

The evolution of the lines of the logo in the three redesigns that Correos has carried out.

Like this, we can find hundreds of examples that happen every day, new companies that are born, others that, like Correos, change their image, advertisements, advertising actions, the opportunities are endless. In all of them, the decisions and designs are made by teams made up of graphic designers.
