Presentation
A language and psycho-pedagogy enthusiast, she had the opportunity to teach at Purdue University (2015-2022) and to be part of research teams on the practices of heritage speakers in the state of Indiana or on the use of digital humanities to innovate and promote social responsibility. In the USA, during her Master in Applied Linguistics, she delved into the study of language use through sociolinguistics and the need for explicit correction when acquiring a second foreign language in the classroom. During the years of doctoral research in Comparative Literature she focused on digital humanities and popular culture, including the exposure of research on La Casa de Papel, Dead Poets Society or The Simpsons. The Master's degree obtained in Educational Psychology helps her to solve situations that arise around the individual and collective needs of students and, since 2023, she teaches specialised English in different degrees such as product design, fashion, animation/video games or graphic design at UDIT.
